Hi.
I am going on holiday to Greece on Friday morning and I have been diagnosed with fibroids which have been causing very heavy bleeding despite my Merena coil, which I have had for 10 + years. My doctor has given me a prescription for Norethisterone to take 2-3 days before my next period. However I don't know when I am going to bleed so this has been difficult for me to predict. Consequently I have started spotting this morning which indicates a period is about to start. My question is can I still successfully take Norethisterone to postpone this period?
