Hi I Am Having Fever Since Friday Afternoon, Doctor Says

Hi I am having fever since Friday afternoon, doctor says it is viral fever. He prescribed Dolo 650 for three days, so that is over now. Later he added Meftal for 2 days. I didn't get fever last night, but now I feel / sense that fever is coming back. What should I do now? I have lost my appetite, taste, feel nausea and lethargic? Can I change to some other safer and more effective medicine?
