Hi. I am having problems with my throat. Have been doctoring for several months. Initially, I felt a lump in my throat and felt as if my throat was tightening. I also had problems swallowing, food would feel caught in my throat. I had my throat dialated and found through an MRI that I have abrient right subclavian artery. After the dialation, swallowing has not been as issue. I continue to have the lump in my throat, although it comes and goes. Anxiety medication does help some. The past four months I have experience 3 sinus infections and was treated with Zithromax. I am feeling those symptoms again! It only affects the right side of my throat. The muscles/ligaments, glands and throat ache. No fever, in fact tend to run a low temp (97.6 degrees). It aches in the back of neck into my shoulder as well. I do know that my thyroid is slightly enlarged on the right side and there is a small nodule on the right side as well. I have been to my family dr., a general surgeon, thyroid dr. and a vascular surgeon. Even my dentist has advised a mouth guard at night to help with teeth clinching I seem to do! I am tired, frustrated, confused and miserable! Can you help?
