Hi, I Am Hurting On My Left Side Up By

Hi, I am hurting on my left side up by my ribs. It started around 6 months ago, just once in a while. I just thought I had just pulled a muscle. No bruising. In the last 2 weeks the pain is all the time. I cannot lay down on my left side. It is very painful if I lay down or sit down.
