Hi, I Am On The Third Month Of My Microgestin
Hi,
I am on the third month of my Microgestin FE 1/20. I take the pills at the same time every day (I have an alarm) and this is my only form of birth control. I called my doctor this morning but she hasn't called me back.
At the end of the first pack I skipped the placebo pills and began the second pack right away to avoid having my period because we were on vacation. Upon finishing the second pack I took the placebo pills, but had no period and only very very light pink spotting. I took a home pregnancy test and it came back negative. I am on the third day of the third week of my third month and experienced light spotting yesterday, but cramping and heavy enough bleeding today to need to use a tampon.
My questions are: 1) Is this normal? 2) Should I continue taking the pills tomorrow? 3) Next week when I take the placebo pills will I get my period?
