Hi, I am post-op 1 week sinus surgery today, the doctor had a culture done and it came back klebsiella oxytoca. no antibiotic was administered. three days post-op I developed a horrible cough, sore throat, and spitting up yellow pus like clumps. I called and insisted on an antibiotic and was given Cipro for 21 days along with Medrol pak. am I on the right track?
