Hi! I am seeking fertility treatments soon. I have to take a saliva test to check for cotinine levels. I have just recently stopped smoking, less than a week. How long do I need to wait to have my cotinine levels drop. I am 41 and time is not on my side to conceive. We are in the process of trying to come up with a timeline to start treatments. My insurance company states they will not pay for fertility treatments if cotinine is detected.
