Hi, I Am Wondering If You Can Help Me Figure

Hi, I am wondering if you can help me figure out what may be wrong with my finger. This morning I was pulling my car door closed with my ring finger. I heard a pop & had a pain shooting from my finger to my mid fore arm. I can move it, it doesn't appear to be swollen or bruised but it still hurts...especially when I try to put pressure on it such as turning on my blinker with that finger. I am wondering what may be wrong with it & if I should seek treatment. Like I said, pain is tolerable but annoying, no obvious signs of bruising or swelling. Just some pain.
