Hi I Among A Couple Of People Have A Problem

Hi I among a couple of people have a problem with the stringy goo that comes from your eyes. I was told that when I was a baby I had blocked tear ducts. Now everyday I pull this stringy stuff out of my eye many time throughout the day. Sometimes it goes across my retina and I'm unable to see out of that eye till I pull it out. What do I do about this.
