Hi, I Appreciate Your Help In Answering My Questions And

Hi,
I appreciate your help in answering my questions and concerns,
My father had surgery on his neck and in that process contracted MRSA.
It has been 4 or so years now that he has been on batrim antibiotics daily.
I don't believe he has it in his blood stream, but has a mrsa scar on the back of his neck.
It is new, I have never seen any other mrsa marks before.
I have several concerns, could it be that his antibiotics are not working properly or is it normal to get these marks? I know Mrsa can be deadly and I am worried for his health and our health as well...
We see him once or twice a month and we hug him and he give us kisses,my mom a quick kiss on the mouth and me on the cheek. can you tell us our risk of catching mrsa? and how exactly we can catch it? and how will we know if we have? are there signs or symtoms always or do we have to get tested?
I am also worried for my dad health, If you could pls give me a detailed answer to educate me to protect us and my father I would so greatly appreciate it! Thank you very much for your time. :-)
