Hi, I Banged My Thumb Pretty Badly In The Car
Hi,
I banged my thumb pretty badly in the car door over two weeks ago. It turned black within days and a bubble of blood formed under the skin between the nail and knuckle.
About a week ago it started to leak blood. I used antiseptic but it healed over again.
It isn't sore or red. Nor do I have a fever. I am concerned as the thumb is starting to smell.
Should I release the remaining blood? Is the smell anything to worry about? Or should it heal normally on its own?
