I bruised a bone in my foot about 3 weeks ago. I had an X-ray the day after I hit it and had another X-ray last week because it's still pretty swollen. I'm taking Aleve for the inflammation however it's still pretty sore & swolen. Should I put cold or hot compresses on it in the evening? I get conflicting reports.
