Hi, I Fell Down The Stairs Last Night, And Hit

Hi, I fell down the stairs last night, and hit my spine directly on the edge of one one the stairs. I lost feeling in my legs momentarily, I'm able to walk but my spine is very swollen and extremely sore to touch. There is a small fluid bump as well. Should I make an appointment with a doctor? Or wait to see how it heals?
