Hi, I Gave Birth Only A Few Days Ago However

Hi, I gave birth only a few days ago however my clitoris is very swollen and seems as thought it has come out of the skin that it was inside and protecting it before, therefore everytime it touches my under where or sanitary pad it stings. I know it's only been a few days and I don't expect things to go back to normal but would you be able to tell me if this is normal and will it eventually go back into the little skin sack it was in before?
