Hi I Got The Mirena Iud A Month Or Two

Hi I got the mirena iud a month or two ago and I'm having horrible stabbing pains in my uterus to the point where it hurts to stand up straight. I'm also having some vaginal bleeding, not just spotting because there's a little more blood and it's red, not the usual brown discharge stuff. I was wondering if this is normal or should I get it looked at? I don't have insurance so I always go to planned parenthood. Also, when I check to feel the string i can still feel it.
