Hi! I Had A Broken Hand. My Doctor Said That

Hi!
I had a broken hand. My doctor said that the break has healed. All he said was that I don't need to wear the
Brace anymore.
Then for the last two days my hand below the broken area has been swelling. All during the time of the healing, I used a heating pad to help the healing. Not my Doctor's advise, though.
