Hi, I Had A Clavicle Fracture Surgery Where A Plate

Hi,
I had a clavicle fracture surgery where a plate and screws were used for the repair nine days ago. I've noticed that when I stand with my shoulders relaxed, my neck tendons tighten to an uncomfortable degree and it's quite visible and rather annoying. Actually it's mildly painful. The clavicle fracture was one clean break. I can only speculate that the operation was performed with my shoulder in a "higher than relaxed" position, thus the tension when I actually do relax my shoulders. It also appears that my clavicle bone doesn't protrude as far out as it did before the injury. It doesn't match up to the other clavicle bone anymore.
Will this tendon tightness loosen up over time, or will this be a permanent feature in my neck area from here on out?
Thanks very much.
