Hi. I Had A Microdiscectomy 3 Weeks Ago Due To

Hi. I had a microdiscectomy 3 weeks ago due to a large hernia disk in back and severe sciatica. Although, I have not have any relief in my leg since the surgery, is that a bad sign? Or is it just that it may be a long process in my case? My neuro surgeon told e the next day of my surgery that my nerve was severly compressed.
