Hi, I Had A Pretty Vicious Upper Respiratory Infection That
Hi, I had a pretty vicious upper respiratory infection that I recovered from about a week and a couple of days ago. 7 days ago I had a very noticible, painful (what I assume) lymph node appear above my left breast about 5-6 inches below my clavicle. The following day the large single node was slightly smaller and many smaller nodes were palpable. One day later I felt the same thing on my right upper breast area in the same spots. I will be calling my physician for an appointment if they're not gone in the next 2-3days. I'm very concerned about the location and the likelyhood of cancer being the cause. I am a 38 year old female with essential thrombocytosis and type two diabetes. Is this a situation that requires an appointment quickly, or should I take a wait and see attitude. Thank you!
