Hi. I Had A Really Bad Car Accident Just Over

Hi. I had a really bad car accident just over a year ago and had a few injuries all over from whiplash to a broken little toe. What I'm still concerned about is, I fractured a couple of ribs on my left side. And I've had this swollen lump where my ribs was fractured. Its about half size of a tennis ball and I really struggle to breath sometimes. Even to walk up one flight of stairs I get out of breath. I do worry cos I know my own body and this doesn't feel right. The swelling has been there since my car accident from March last year. Will it ever dissappear cos it makes me so breathless. I'm a 47 year old man. And before this I was usually fit and healthy.

Please could anyone help me with some advice please. I know without seeing me in person you can't be accurate but I would really appreciate any possibilities that anyone could help me with.
