Hi, I Had A Very Strange Experience The Other Evening.

Hi, I had a very strange experience the other evening. I awoke from a sound sleep with a cramp in my left calf. I got out of bed to stretch the muscle to relieve the cramp but it was so tight that I could not flex my heel to flatten my foot. The pain was intense and I was becoming very angry. I bent over slightly and leaned against the wall so I could put pressure on my knee to force my foot into a flatter position to relieve the cramp. I began to experience nausea. I thought to myself well now, I certainly don't want to vomit with this cramp in my leg and then I had an urgent need to defecate. I stumbled into our bathroom but became very dizzy and fell into the door. I managed to get myself seated on the toilet but my entire body was so tense that I was now having very labored breathing and I noticed that I was drooling and hunkered over in a fetal position. I thought to myself I really need to try and relax and breathe. That was when I noticed that I my neck muscles and my tongue (especially) were extremely tight. I had broken into a cold sweat and I was concentrating on relaxing and breathing because I was having a difficult time. I felt like I could not come to the surface of consciousness. I managed to call out to my husband who was sleeping but my speech was very impaired. Partly due to my tongue being so tight and the fact that I was having such difficulty breathing. After about 10 minutes it all began to dissipate followed by cold chills and shaking. We went to the hospital and many tests were run but no diagnosis. I hoping you may have some type of clue as to what this was. I feel as though it was some form of conscious seizure. It is very difficult to describe in the fact that I was in a lot of pain yet nothing hurt (other than the cramp in my calf).
