Hi! I Had Developed A Painful Boil On Butt Cheek

Hi! I had developed a painful boil on butt cheek 6 days back. I started to take Augmentin 625 two days back. Took four doses of it yet. However, yesterday night the boil ruptured, blood and pus coming out of it. I put a band aid on it. The pain lessened after that. Today morning when I removed the band aid, blood and pus again started to come out. Is it normal? For how long will it bleed? Should I continue to take Augmentin?
