Hi, I Had The Flu Or A Flu Like Virus

Hi, I had the flu or a flu like virus about a month ago that lasted a week. I had a high fever, cough, runny nose, and aches and pains. After about 4 days I developed a very sore throat with swollen red tonsils and large bumps on the back of my throat. Since then my throat has become much less painful and the swelling has gone down so I thought it was getting better. But today the swelling returned a little bit and the bumps are still there and look the same as when I first became sick. Also my ears have begun to ache.
