I had the implanon inserted yesterday, and though I received all the usual information from the doctor, I can't remember how long I was told to wait before I do strenuous exercise. I skipped netball last night because I asked her directly about it, and she said an emphatic no.
It will have been nearly 36 hours since insertion by tonight, when I want to go rock-climbing (I usually go x2 weekly), and i'm wondering if its a case-by-case, or if I should wait the 2 days before the waterproof dressing is ready to come off before I do something that requires working my arm muscles hard.
