Hi, I Had The Mirena Coil Fitted On The 18.3.15.

Hi, I had the mirena coil fitted on the 18.3.15. Everyday since then I have had severe heavy bleeding. Yesterday I had a feel to see if it was still in place as I've been getting very bad pains in my lower stomach and groin. To my surprise I felt the strings of the coil clearly sticking out of my vagina. Does this mean that it has expelled and do I need to get this checked? Thanks
