Hi I Had To Remove A Lost Tampon On Thursday

Hi I had to remove a lost tampon on Thursday and I got really sick I had the fever chills and my stomach was hurting headache dizziness when I thought it was the flu but then I found the tampon and I removed it I felt a lot better the next day I showered but now my question is my stomach feels a little hot inside still and I'm still getting tired what does this mean ?
