Hi I Had Unprotected Sex, I'm Not On My Period

Hi I had unprotected sex, I'm not on my period or anything and your meant to take the microgynon 30 on the first day of your period, I didn't, I took it about 24 hours after but before 72 hours so will this protect me? Even though I didn't take it on the first day of my period I took it before 72 hours?
