Hi. I Have 2 Male Labrador Dogs. The Oldest One

Hi. I have 2 male Labrador dogs. The oldest one is 11 and the father of the other one, who is 6. The youngest has a Timor and is on medication. This evening the oldest has been licking his son more than usual and doesn't want to leave him alone. Do you think its because of his Timor?
