Hi, I Have Diphtheroidf From A Surgery I Had A

Hi, I have Diphtheroidf from a surgery I had a couple of years ago on my back. I'm on an antibiotic twice a day. But now I have a cough that just came up. I was wondering could the cough and feeling bad be from having the infection. Thank you for your time.
