Hi I Have Polymyalgia, And Have Been On Prednisone, I

Hi I have Polymyalgia, and have been on prednisone, I have recently had headaches in the left quadrant of my head, and seen the dr. yesterday, who upped my prednisone from 10mg to 60 mg. I had bloodwork done today waiting for results. My question is, can I fly, (I am looking for a flight in end fo March/April, and was wanting to have bariatric surgery... I am 58 300# and with the prednisone use as it has been I can't loose weight and worried that all of this weight has attributed to the polymyalgia as it is.
