Hi! I have a 13 yrs old boy. he is complaining of abdominal pain. his liver is enlarged in ultrasound, but there is no sign of inflammed apendix in us. there is no leucocytosis in blood, blumberg is positive. I am worried about his liver. doctors say it could be apendicitis and they started him in antibiotics, but no clinical improvement is seen. what could it be? can inflammed apendix affect liver size?
