Hi, I Have A 18 Month Old Daughter , She

Hi, I have a 18 month old daughter , she is suffering from fever from last 4 days.Sometime it reached up to 104.1 F. But now she recovered from it and suffering with acute diarrhea for last 3 days. some time blood is coming with her excretes. We checked with her pediatrician but he refuses to give her any medicine and suggest us to feed as much of fluid.We are doing so.My question is it is already goes to a serious condition,how can anyone help her with some remedy like over the counter medicine ?
