Hi I Have A Dog That Seems To Experiencing Sleep

Hi
I have a dog that seems to experiencing sleep apnea. She stops breathing and then it looks like she is having a seizure but maybe it isn't a seizure. Vets don't know what it is. I have been to six of them. She started out SCREAMING about once a month in the middle of the night. All of a sudden about three weeks ago, the screaming became every night and then 5-6 times per night. Every time she falls asleep, eventually, she stops breathing. If I wake her, she is OK, if I don't wake her, she has what looks like a type of seizure with a blue tongue even. Currently, the two vetsthat make the most sense have prescribed vetmedin 1.25, theophylline, levetiraceram and prednisolone. I am concerned about interactions? And, more important, have any of you dealt with this sort of thing? She is 13 years old, 5 lb. chichuaua, collapsed trachea issues and minor heart issues. I am exhausted as I am afraid to go to sleep in case she needs me to wake her up....When I do fall asleep, I don't get more than 20-30 minutes before I am woken up with the blood curdling scream. I can't go on much longer like this. And I am terrified she is going to die during the night during one of these episodes.
