Hi! I Have A Hard. Fixed Bump Behind My Left

Hi! I have a hard. Fixed bump behind my left ear. I have had it for a year and it hasn't bothered me and has stayed the same size. Recently it feels inflamed and a little bigger went from pea to a heap size. What could this be? I have been touching it a lot as well could this irritate it to become inflamed? Please help!
