Hi, I Have A Hard Small Lump On My Scalp.

Hi, I have a hard small lump on my scalp. It's quite hard but not large in size but also quite raised. My boyfriend noticed it and since I haven't been able to stop poking and scratching at it. It's now turned quite blood shot and looks, though isn't sore, any clue what it could be?
