Hi I Have A History Of Small Bowel Obstruction,my Colon

Hi I have a history of small bowel obstruction,my colon is starting to get narrow where I have the obstruction,I have a history scar tissue and had 13 surgeries.Dr. Are telling me that nothing can be done to prevent these ostructions. I was hoping something could be done,thank you.
