Hi I Have A Long Bruise Going Up The Bottom

Hi I have a long bruise going up the bottom of my spine and it's been there for a couple of years now and I really want to know what it is. It is brown in colour but it causes me no pain. Recently I have been having upper back pain but I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
