Hi I Have A Lump On My Thyroid On The

Hi I have a lump on my thyroid on the left side which was a bit painful but the pain has now gone although the lump is still there (it is about 3cm), Now another lump has formed on the right side, which is painful but a lot smaller. I have been to the doctor and she has referred me to an ENT. Could this be cancer.
