Hi, I Have A Missed Period For 10 Days And

Hi, I have a missed period for 10 days and no symptoms of pregnancy and am trying to get pregnant. I have PCOD and no thyroid. I was on metformin for 5 yrs and as my doctor advice I stopped taking it and started using normoz for a month and in the same month I have missed period. Myself and my husband we took all the test and other than PCO all other things are normal. On 8 the day I took a strip test which was negative. And my doubt is, since there is negative result is that because of stopping metformin? And am really wanted to get pregnant so some advice on it
