Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I have a question. I've had lupus for about 15 years. I've never really had a lot of problems. On Monday I went for my regular check up. My blood pressure was 169/125. They took blood. Called me Tuesday, I went back Wednesday due to low platelet count. It was 80,000. On Wednesday it was 50,000. So I'm being referred to a hemotologist. I told doc I had just been feeling off lately. Seein spots in my vision and periods of dizziness. What could all of this mean? I also have edema in my ankles, and a constant headache for the past 2 months.
