Hi I Have A Question About My Gums, My Gums

Hi I have a question about my gums, my gums are puffy and swollen from my braces and I was told to massage them and bush more, my other ortho said it wont stop until I get them off. But i also grind my teeth at night. Bad. Any suggestions to decrease the swelling?
