Hi, I Have A Question About My Periods. I Am

Hi, I have a question about my periods. I am on birth control (implanon) and have been for 3 years. I still get my periods regularly however recently my last period had just finished and only 2 days later I started getting period pains and found I was on my period again and a few days have passed and its still going. What may be the cause of this?
