Hi, I Have A Sebaceous Cyst On My Scrotum. I

Hi, I have a sebaceous cyst on my scrotum. I went to the doctor today and he said it was infected and that he drained it. I was given an antibiotic for 3 days and to keep bacatracin on it. I know the sack needs to be removed to fully go away, but my question is should the lump go down more than it is now once the infection is gone? Even with the draining it doesn't even seem to be half the size it was before. I am wondering if I should expect this to continue to get smaller in the coming days and end up with a smaller lump.
