Hi. I have a son who is 12 years old almost 13. He is afraid of heights and will soon be taking an airplane to visit some relatives. For his anxiousness it was recommended to me to get him a prescription of .25 mg of alprazalam or xanax. I have concerns about him taking medication like this. Is it safe for him to take it?
