Hi, I Have A Tube In My Ear. I Get

Hi,

I have a tube in my ear. I get a very sharp pain everytime I yawn or burp. I feel the tube might have moved?
I have an appointment with my specialist but is there anything I can do in the mean time to alleviate the pain?

Also, is it safe to take the plane?
