Hi I Have Acutely Inflammation Of The Right Big Toe

Hi I have acutely inflammation of the right big toe on the side I believe it is the start of a bunion but have been treated for gout. At 2.30 this morning I used volts ren gel osteo gel 12 hourly and took some Panadol with codine. My question is as the pain is very bad do I have to wait till the 12 hours are up to use the indocid that the dr has prescribed
