Hi, I Have Alopecia, But Didn't Notice Until My Hairdresser

Hi, I have alopecia, but didn't notice until my hairdresser showed me a bald spot on the back of my head. and she told me it was due to stress. I switched shampoo, and it seems it's helping, but growing back very slowly. should I go see a Doctor for this, I don't want to end up bold!
