Hi... I have an artificial heart valve {pig} and have been on Amiodarone for over a year. I haven't had afib during those months... How much longer should I have to take this medicine. It has bad side effects that are disturbing me ..some are very uncomfortable such as shortness of breath, trouble walking and swollen feet and legs to mention a few.
