Hi, I have been experiencing frequent (like 5 a minute) premature beats. Worse at night and after exercise. They were caught on the ECG. One Dr said they were just frequent but harmless PACs. The other Dr in the ER said they looked just like normal sinus beats occuring at the wrong time - SA node misfires. I was sent to my cardiologist for follow up, but my appt is weeks away, and I'm nervous. I'm familiar with PACs coming from areas other than the SA node, but not SA "misfires." Is this dangerous? Correctible? My dad has sick sinus syndrome, and said this is how his problem started, so I'm concerned.
