Hi, I Have Been Have Severe Discomfort In My Upper

Hi, I have been have severe discomfort in my upper stomach, like gas pains and pulled muscle pain. Earlier in the week I took some Milk of Maganese and that seem to subside it. However it has comeback, I mention it to my Pharacmist and he suggest taking zantac, so I started it last night. I also took one Ibuprofen 600 ml . It really relieved the pain and I was able to go to sleep. As I started moving this morning and put a small amount of food on my stomach the pain return. I am a diabetic and my sugar has been running higher than usual, could there any relationship to what is going with my stomach. Could I continue taking the ibuprofen. I am also constipated.
